Please congratulate the Men's golf team for winning the "Gilbert City Cup" tournament this week.

The team won every stage of the 3 day tourney and shot a 3 over par 324 total. (par for the three days was 321) Yesterday the team went 9 under par.

It was a very big week for us, first qualifying for the Team State Championships and now this.

Please Congratulate the Men's golf team on a huge accomplishment of qualifying for team State!

For those who follow golf the qualifying mark was very tough this year.

The team had to shoot 8 over par or better to qualify. Which means each player had to shoot a 38 or better (par is 36).

They had to do this 5 times throughout the year. Right now there are 10 teams that have qualified out of 64 for team State. (Boys State golf is in Tucson Oct. 28th and 29th)

Also, today is the final day of the "Gilbert City Cup" which we hold a 5 stroke lead over highland. If you have any of these golfers in class please congratulate them!
