The Jaguars of Desert Ridge High School beat Mountain Pointe High on Saturday night to lay claim to 5AI State Champs by a score of 11-4.

The Desert Ridge Jaguars will be facing another familiar foe this Saturday night as they advanced in the state playoff's.
The baseball team at DRHS is in the State Championship for a 2nd straight year after a win against Gilbert last night, 5-3. The Jags will face Mtn. Pointe High School as they beat Mesquite in the 2nd game after falling to them in the first one. The first pitch is set for 7pm at Camelback Ranch in Glendale.

The DRHS Jaguars will be facing a familiar foe in Gilbert High School on Thursday night as the Tigers beat Salpointe on Tuesday night to adavace in the state playoffs.
One other Gilbert School also is in contention for the championship as the Mesquite Wildcats beat Red Mtn. for the right to play Mtn. Pointe. They along with Gilbert are coming into the game both having lost one game and have to win two games on Thursday to advance to the championship on Saturday night.

The Jags are moving on in the playoff's as they beat the Gilbert Tigers 5-4 on Saturday night. They wait for the winner of the Salpointe/Gilbert game for the right to play in the championship.

The Baseball team went out to Glendale and picked up a win in the second round of the playoff's 14-3 against Salpointe. This Saturday night they will be playing the Gilbert Tigers at 7pm.
